Abstract
This Bachelor´s thesis was carried out to use the EFQM Model of Excellence to prove the ability of implementation of a self-assessment system focused on support and service activities provided by the Labor Office in Nový Jičín. The theoretical part describes integration of the self-assessment methodology as an information source for the quality management system. EFQM Model of Excellence is described in detail and I have also chosen it for the self-assessment, as well as description of other possible self-assessment methodologies. The practical part contains the testing prove of the self-assessment methodology, in the Mediation Department. Both the “pro-form” methodology and department staff were used for performing. The forms for Criterion 3: Workers and Criterion 7: Workers - the EFQM Model outcomes were proposed. This was followed by data collecting and evidence analyzing and the strengths and weaknesses were defined by their evaluation.
The self-assessment result with defined weaknesses was delivered to the Labor office management for acquainting and making possible decision on the next step.
