Thesis supervisor: Mgr. Ing. Radomír Ščurek, Ph.D. This master`s thesis is aimed at problematics of risk management, specifically at overview of applicability of selected methods used as sub-processes of risk assessment, in scope of complex physical security. This thesis also aims to approach theoretical and terminological problematics of risk management in international scale, which is highly inconsistent and necessary for effective use and understanding of risk assessment methods. Last part of this thesis is dedicated for designing new risk assessment method specifically for physical security.
