Odpadové hospodářství statutárního města Třince v letech 2019-2024

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the waste management system of the statutory city of Třinec in the years 2019–2024. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the functioning and efficiency of the waste management system in the city and its surrounding districts, as well as to assess the level of public awareness and satisfaction. The analysis was based on a questionnaire survey conducted among residents. The results show that the system is generally functional; however, residents demonstrate gaps in their knowledge of correct waste sorting, particularly regarding specific and polluted waste types. The thesis offers recommendations for improving public awareness and proposes potential measures to enhance the efficiency of the system.
