Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with the safety of the existing freight elevator in the company Julius Meinl Vienna. The research was about to find the greatest risk during operating this freight elevator. In thesis was used analysis to identify the most serious issue, then suggest innovative precaution to reduce risk and increase safety during operation of the freight elevator. This is followed by an economic evaluation of new elements based on ALARA principle. Thesis also includes photos of examined freight elevator, which is in unsatisfactory situation.
