Návrh znovuvyužití areálu bývalé koksovny v Kladně

Abstract

The goal of this diploma thesis is to make a revitalization proposal of the former coking plant’s site in Kladno by using geographical information system. The first part of this thesis si dealing with a coal coking process and its impact to the enviroment, realizations or their proposals on a similar localities in the Ruhr region in Germany, essence of business incubators and science and technology parks and last but not least areas’s of interest localization and historical evolution. The second part of this thesis is focused on metodology of map model’s making in GIS, analysis of the area of interest and on description of each parts of revitalization proposal – new buildings, infrastructure and park.
