Denisa Cihlářová, Ph.D. The content of this thesis is the verification of the effectiveness of alternative binders for soil improvement and stabilization. The work includes three types of alternative binders in interaction with three types of different soils. Before starting the experiment, both the soil and the binders used were analyzed. This was followed by the setting of identical conditions and procedures for the entire experiment according to standards in a laboratory environment. After making all the combinations in three different doses, the experiment was evaluated. Development graphs and tables with results were created, followed by a recommendation for use in individual parts of the transport construction. At the end, there was an evaluation of the results achieved and a description of the findings that were achieved during the implementation. The goal of this work was to verify whether alternative binders can become an equivalent substitute for binders that are widely used today. The obtained results point to the fact that the most effective alternative binder that was incorporated into the work is the Dastit binder.
