Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the creation of a coherent training program in the field of system identification and control loop design. The theoretical part consists of the description of basic terms tackling identification that should help a better understanding of the system identification process. In the following part, an instructional text is presented that explains the principle of successive identification method, as long as this method is applied in the training program. In addition, the training program concerns controller settings, therefore, the definition of the control loop and the possibilities of its practical application are provided as well. The latter section is dedicated to the control loop design, describing the most widely used methods for determination of controller settings that are applied on the presented tutorial. The practical part is focused on the creation of the tutorial program. The program is able to to determine step response characteristics by reading the input data and to subsequently provide system identification on the basis of the method of successive integration. After receiving a differential equation, it appears to become possible to choose methods of setting the controller, where, after calculating control parameters, the program determines step resonse characteristics of the control loop by applying the given settings. The last part of the thesis provides a comparison of the existing school model with the simulations.
