Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the policy and programming of rural development in the European Union and the Czech Republic. Main goal of theoretical part is to introduce to readers the functioning of the rural development policy. The practical part describes the project which deals with the development of infrastructure in the village of Chotěbuz. I used primary and also secondary informations. The result of this diploma thesis is comprehensive summary of rural development policy and description of project "Revitalisation of community sports complex Chotěbuz".
