Viackriteriálny výber poistného produktu neživotného poistenia

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of non-life insurance products, specifically property insurance, in order to identify the most appropriate product for the subject. The thesis is divided into five chapters, which include an introduction and a conclusion. The second chapter, the theoretical chapter, presents the methods of determining the weights of criteria and multi-criteria evaluation of variants. In the third chapter, non-life insurance is characterised in detail and the available products and services of individual insurance companies on the Slovak insurance market are presented. The fourth chapter of the thesis is devoted to the application of methods requiring cardinal information. The subject set a total of six criteria and chose 7 non-life insurance companies, based on the percentage share of total written premiums in the Slovak insurance market. These criteria and variations are key to identifying the best product. The Point Scale Method and the Saaty Method are used to determine the weights of the criteria. To find the best product, the Linear Partial Benefit Function Method and the AHP method are applied. The result of this work, based on the applied methods, is that given the established criteria, the most suitable product for the subject is Home IN. Since not in all criteria this variant had the best values, it is not the optimal variant, but the best compromise variant.
