Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of filtration, adsorption and ion exchange efficiency for the removal of calcium, magnesium and manganese from model water. The experiments were performed on the CE 581 teaching module, which simulates real water treatment conditions. The aim was to design and validate a teaching task and to evaluate the effectiveness of different water treatment methods in terms of removal of selected ions.
