Abstract

The aim of the thesis, tilted “Human Potential Development of a Selected Retail Chain”, is to find out how a selected retail chain approaches to human potential developement, including ascertainemnt of effectiveness of applied methods. For the analysis mentioned above I chose retail chain Tesco Stores ČR a. s., concretely hypermarket Tesco Ostrava Futurum.

The first chapter concerns the teoretical and conceptual outlets of approach to human potential developement. The second chapter presents basic characteristics of the chosen retail chain. The objective of the third chapter is to analyse approach of the chosen retail chain to human potential developement with emphasis on education and developement. Finally the last chapter called suggestions and recommendations in the area of developement of human potential developement, resulting from the proceding analysis.
