Abstract
Public administration is a field that affects each of us in some way and therefore, it is appropriate to know its functioning. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the functioning of public administration according to the individual criteria and further, to evaluate the tax collection, which is the main task of financial administration belonging to public administration.
In the theoretical part of the thesis, there were methods of description and comparison of public and financial administration mainly used.
The practical part of the thesis deals with the evaluation of public and financial administration. The evaluation method is used in the form of analysis elaborated by individual criteria.
The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the results of public and financial administration evaluation.
