JANÁKOVÁ, A.: The Apartment House on Masaryk Square in Ostrava, Bachelor Thesis. Ostrava. VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Architecture, 2021, 36 pages, Bachelor Thesis Supervisor: Ing. arch. Lucie Videcká. This bachelor thesis deals with the project documentation for the construction of an apartment house on Masaryk Square in Ostrava for constructions by Decree 405/2017 Coll., that changes Decree 499/2006 Coll., construction documentation, by the Decree 62/2013 Coll. An architectonic study from Studio Work I., the academic year 2018/2019, and documentation for a construction permit from Studio Work Va., the academic year 2019/2020, have been used as the base of this thesis. The multifunctional house, along with two other houses, fills the gap site. This house is rectangular, it has five floors, one lower ground floor and a flat roof. Spaces for the sales unit are designed on the ground floor. Because of the smaller area of the new building, the apartment building is designed for one apartment per floor. 4th and 5th floor, the apartment is designed as a duplex apartment with a terrace and a view of the square on the. Within the scope of the Architecture specialization, architectural detail of the staircase space with a steel railing is also a part of the bachelor's thesis.
