Rehabilitace území centra Ostrava Hrušov

Abstract

The premise of this thesis is to propose a plan for the re-design and redevelopment of the Ostrava-Hrušov town centre, which also includes a former elementary school building, currently a brownfield. The thesis is divided into three part – informative, analytical and developmental. The first, informative part provides basic information about Ostrava-Hrušov, its historical development, social life, geological, hydrogeological, geomorphological, environmental and demographic conditions, as well as information on transpostation and technical infrastructure. Part one concludes with a proposal of the re-development. The second, analytical part asseses the redevelopment using the strategic SWOT analysis and a number of criteria, including urbanistical, ecological, economic and social. This part further discusses the urban plan, schwarzplan, problém map and zoning map. The third, development part, defines the main goal of this thesis, illustrating how the land could be redeveloped and the means of accomplishing the redeveloplement. One such re-velopment includes the construction of a art highschool with a surrounding green recreational zone. The next section of the third part of the thesis discusses the construction plan, including the approximative calculation of opering costs of project.
