This bechelor thesis named Database Design of a Selected Part of Information System for an Evropská databanka, a.s. Company, deals with the issue of database design of the information system of Evropská databanka, a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to design a functional database. The first part of the thesis presents the basic theoretical apparatus for database modeling and its respektive processes.

Application of the relevant theory is then persued in the application part in which the analyzed database design is extended and rationalized by way of three-level concept of database modeling.

The analysis also includes a through description of the individual funcions and data flows used in the framework of the compay’s information system.
