Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of isolated networks and earth connection faults which may occur in these networks and as well as reducing earth current while applying arc suppression coil. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on description of faults in networks, earth connections and their compensation, also on the issue of automatic arc suppression coil tuning. In the second practical part network parameters are calculated and based on these calculated figures a suppression coil and its appropriate automatic tuning are suggested.
