Abstract

The assignment of this thesis is to elaborate a project documentation to the dispensation of the construction according to regulation No. 499/2006 Coll. for a section of the Bookstore on the Boardwalk, Slezská Ostrava. This thesis continues in an urban study originated in work in Studio Art III., also in architectural study of the building in Studio Art IV. and a documentation of building permit elaborated for a section of the Bookstoreon the Boardwalk, Slezska Ostrava, hereinafter the Bookstore in Studio Art Va.Of the building is located in the heart of the newly proposed Silesian Ostrava from urban studies semester project in Studio Art III.The building is nestled into the hillside and waterfront Ostravice meander-like shape follows the natural flow of the river. The proposal is designed as three separate buildings connected into one whole opening to the river and uses views of the countryside. The proposed new building is a three-story bookstore, cafe and gallery connected with the lower floor foyer.The roof of the lower floor is walkable and is also used as a terrace while the roof of the gallery, while extensive planting.
