Vliv povrchových úprav slitiny titanu připravené 3D tiskem na výsledné povrchové a korozní charakteristiky

Abstract

This thesis investigates the effect of surface treatments of a titanium alloy prepared by 3D printing on the resulting surface and corrosion characteristics. The theoretical part focuses on the properties of titanium alloys, additive manufacturing, degradation mechanisms of metallic components, especially corrosion and surface treatments. In the theoretical part, emphasis is given to medical applications of 3D printing using titanium alloys. In the practical part, the microstructure of the printed parts was observed, the porosity of the prepared samples was determined, and their hardness was also measured. A total of three surface treatments were performed, grinding, passivation and anodization. Roughness parameters, wetting angles, surface energy and corrosion properties were measured. The corrosion properties were measured using potentiodynamic polarization.
