Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to assess the level of training and development of employees in the company of Decasport LtD. This company sells sports equipment. Another aim is to propose possible recommendations for improving the current situation. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of the basic concepts related to the issues of human resource management and employee training and development based on professional sources. The practical part is devoted to the characteristics of the company in which the empirical investigation is conducted and then to the analysis of the current training system itself. The analysis is carried out by using a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. Based on the data collection and the information obtained, recommendations are made that can improve and optimize the current education system.
