Vývoj krajiny správního území obce s rozšířenou působností Králíky

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the land use development in the municipality with extended competence Kraliky and to offer facts and arguments for the furtherlandscape planning. If we want to preserve a valuable landscape, incl. its important agricultural and hydrological functions, we need to map changes that have taken place in the past and try to correct some of them in order to restore the necessary functions of the landscape. Historical aerial photos are essential to fulfil this task. This work is based on comparison of aerial photographs from 1953 and 2016. Following land use classes were monitored: agricultural area (crop fields), grassland, forests, buildings, water areas, roads, railways and watercourses. Object classification for majority of areal classes were complemented with evaluation based on vectorization of linear elements. Results are based on landscape balances, supplemented by indicators of landscape fragmentation. The results of the bachelor thesis will be used for creation of regional planning for ORP Kraliky.
