Abstract

The content of the diploma thesis is an analysis of the management of biodegradable municipal waste in the town of Rakovník. This work aims to provide the city authorities with data on the management of biodegradable municipal waste. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and research. The theoretical part contains the basic concepts, legal regulations that are associated with the problem. The research part describes the current state of biodegradable municipal waste management in the town of Rakovník. The aim of the research is to propose, on the basis of the acquired knowledge and SWOT analysis, a generally binding decree, which the city representatives could use for waste management and collection in Rakovník.
