Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate external and internal environment of the company, CEZ Sales, Ltd. and to define its position on the market. Assessing the business environment of the company was done on the basis of individual analyzes. For the analysis of the external environment was chosen PESTLE analysis and Porter's five forces model. Using PESTLE Analysis identifies potential opportunities and threats that significantly affect the company, and also we get the basis for preparing forecasts on the future development of the company. Porter's five forces model helps us analyze the various forces acting in mezzoprostředí. SWOT analysis was chosen for the assessment of the internal environment. Through SWOT analysis we get an overview of important factors that significantly affect the operations of the company and its market success. Created recommendation gives the organization the opportunity to respond to the declining market share of electricity. It is recommended several proposals which would enable the company to reverse this unfavorable direction.
