Abstract

The bachelor thesis describes a proposal for further mining at the Rožmitál quarry. The proposal could be based on the current plan of opening, preparation and extraction or extraction of the approved reserves. The first part of the proposal includes the opening of the cut with a working platform on the dimension 585 m above sea level thereby extending the mining operation so that the balance reserves of the exclusive deposit can be extracted. The second part of the proposal describes the opening of a working platform at 485 m above sea level with the development of a mining exploration procedure to verify the reserves that can be accessed by this mining cut. This is a theoretical elaboration of the proposals for the future mining process.
