Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of a fixture for automated CNC laser machining. Automation of production processes is one of the main trends of today, as it helps increase productivity, quality, and repeatability of products. Laser machining, which utilizes a concentrated beam of light, stands out for its precision, speed, and ability to process a variety of materials. However, manual operation of laser devices often faces challenges related to consistency of results and efficiency, which can pose significant obstacles in industrial production. The main goal of this thesis is to design an efficient and straightforward fixture that ensures stable and precise laser machining while being easily compatible with CNC systems. The thesis includes an analysis of existing solutions, the definition of key design requirements, and the subsequent creation of a design, including a strength analysis to verify its functionality.
