Abstract

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the Technical Monuments in Tourism. The thesis is divided into the six chapters. Theoretical part contains introduction to the issue of tourism and technical monuments. - definitions, classification, conservation, care of these monuments and usage in tourism. In the practical part I describe fortresses in Královéhradecký region- fortress Josefov, border fortifications and city walls - theirs actual usage status, attendance in last two years and fuding sources. Element of this part is also questionnaire survey, which aimed to find how people perceive in general this kind of monuments and also the concrete ones in this region. The main objective of my bachelor work is to acquaint with many fortresses in Královéhradecký region and demonstrate how attractive he is in terms of this kind of monuments.
