Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of physical security of a selected engineering company object. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definition of the issue of physical security, the issue of physical protection of the object and the issue of crime prevention. This part is followed by an overview of legal regulations related to the given topic. The next part deals with the characteristics of the selected building, including a description of its current security, assessment of the existing security of the building and statistics of crime in the selected area. The penultimate part is devoted to the analysis of security risks of the selected object. The last part contains three proposals of innovative security of the selected object including their economic evaluation.
