Abstract

The Theme of this diploma thesis the is Efficiency Improvement of Transport Logistics in Scale Treatment Shop in foundry operation, which falls under company ArcelorMittal engineering products Ostrava s.r.o., which is a subsidiary company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s..In the introduction to the theoretical part is described the company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. and further is outlined logistics management including its development, evaluation and innovation of logistic systems. The next chapter focuses on theory of transport logistics, which describes the various modes of transport. The practical part is first introduced by company ArcelorMittal engineering products Ostrava s.r.o., where treatment of hazardous waste is procesed. Next, there are designed individual variants for improving the efficiency of transport logistics and in last but not least evaluation of alternatives based on the criteria.
