Abstract

The bachelor work is applying to issue of hydro - power. The hydro-power, their distribution and basic utilization are explained at the beginning. There is the electric power scheme with a brief description. Next, there is division of hydro-power plants and their classification. The most important parts are the water engines and, their distributions and use. Next, the synchronous alternators, the asynchronous generators and the transformers with a description and principle of operation. The penultimate section describes the operation of small hydro-power plants. At the end, there are described conditions to a connection.
