Abstract

This bachlor´s thesis deals with the extraction of excavation spoil carried out by the company HOCHTIEF CZ, a. s. It concerns the relocation of excavation spoil from underground, by vertical and horizontal transport, and, its economic evaluation of the related cost items of the additional geological survey, which preceded the current construction of metro D in Prague. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, where basic terms that were draxn from book and web sources, the characteristics of the company, the history of the metro, the contribution of the new route and its innovations are described. The practical part deals with the evaluation of the costs of excavation spoil, the comparison of horizontal and vertical transport and recommending proposals ofr possible optimization of costs.
