Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to establish an efficient system for sharing files over the Internet using peers with open source licensing of the Linux operating system. The reader is also a list of features and technologies for sharing files on the Internet. The work includes the design and implementation of shared storage, verification of its functionality and basic aspects of the software peers.
