Víceřádkový barevný terminál pro Linux připojitelný přes USB rozhraní

Abstract

This thesis deals with design and realization of a text terminal using multicolor LCD, driven by a microcontroller unit, connectable via USB to a computer using Linux system. In the theoretical part of this thesis are introduced terminal functions and their standards, followed by explanation of USB interface operation and its usage for connecting terminal to a computer. There are listed properties of LCD modules and microcontrollers needed to be known when choosing modules and developing the text terminal. Practical part consists of the actual design and realization of this device and its software.
