Abstract

The subject of the thesis is the design of a new primary school building with a complete solution for sanitary installations, with a particular focus on domestic hot water heating, drainage of the building and paved areas, and a design for a rainwater harvesting system, as well as a design for forced ventilation of classrooms. The thesis is prepared at the construction implementation level and is divided into a text part and a drawing part. The first part of the thesis is focused on the architectural and construction design of the building, which is designed as a three-story skeletal system with a flat roof and no basement. The second part proposes a complete solution for sanitary installations in the building with a rainwater harvesting system, a proposal for domestic hot water heating using a heat pump, and water supply and sewerage distribution systems, including connections. The third part deals with the design of forced ventilation of classrooms using an air conditioning system. Finally, there is an economic evaluation of the proposed rainwater harvesting system and an economic comparison of the proposed infiltration system options.
