Abstract

This master's thesis describes in detail the implementation of the ProMod tool for modeling business processes. The application is based on the BPMN notation, which is further extended with additional information. The application server of the tool is implemented using the Java Spring framework and the web interface as a React application. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical foundations of bussines process management and business process modeling, together with an overview of available process modeling tools. The main content of the thesis is the second part, which describes all the functions of the developed application, together with implementation details. This is followed by a description of the architecture, a list of the technologies used, and a comparison of the developed tool with Camunda Modeler.
