Abstract

Non-profit sector starts lately substantially increase its rolein society. An important part of this sector are foundations that are dependent on external sources of funding to operate. This work is focused to finance concrete foundation – The Foundation of Jan Pivečka the site of action in the Zlín Region. The aim of this thesis is to develop a project that The Foundation of Jan Pivečka can actually use and introduce new ways of funding sources for such foundations. The theoretical part describes generally non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic and basic data on The Foundation of Jan Pivečka. The practical part is focused on the introduction of new sources of funding, which currently does not use foundation and development of "Requests for financial assistance" from the European Social Fund, which may be The Foundation of Jan Pivečka real use.
