Abstract
The topic of this thesis is the design and static assessment of steel structure for the bus terminal at Vienna International Airport. The basis for the development was the documentation supplied by the company Institut ocelových konstrukcí, spol. s r. o. Based on it, a numerical model of the structure was created, thanks to which it was possible to carry out a static assessment according to the limit state of bearing capacity and the limit state of usability. Furthermore, the connections of selected structural elements were designed and drawing documentation was created. During modeling, the effort was to use a uniform BIM environment between different programs.
