Krizová intervence při mimořádných událostech

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of crisis intervention and psychosocial support in emergency situations. The theoretical part defines basic concepts such as crisis, emergency event, crisis intervention, stress and psychosocial support. It also describes the legislative framework in the Czech Republic and the system of providing psychosocial support within the Integrated Rescue System. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of education in the field of crisis intervention and to propose a course that would contribute to increasing public preparedness for dealing with crisis situations. The thesis also includes an analysis of selected crisis intervention courses, focusing on their content, teaching methods and practical applicability. Based on this analysis, a new course entitled “Basics of Crisis Intervention for the Public” is proposed. The course is designed for the general public and reflects the need to expand education in the field of crisis intervention beyond professional environments, with an emphasis on practical skills applicable in real-life situations.
