Abstract

The topic of this thesis is to improve the quality with an emphasis on the economic benefit in the automotive industry company. The specific objective is based on the analysis to select the most appropriate product group for improvement, to reduce the incidence, to use some of the quality tool, to demonstrate a reduction of non-quality costs and to demonstrate the positive economic effect for the whole company result. To achieve this goal, it is first processed by the theoretical part, which contains the basic theoretical background in quality management and improvement, including specific requirements in the automotive industry. Follow the application part deals with specific solutions of problems in the selected company operating in the automotive industry, including proposals for the actions. This section focuses on the performance of the company itself, to determine the appropriate improvement project, which includes the initial analysis of the non-quality costs, defect analysis , then design and propose appropriate measures to prevent the occurrence of defects, including evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation and concentrates analysis results for improvement. The conclusion summarizes the results of the application, the benefits of quality improvement, as well as suggestions and recommendations for improvement.
