Abstract
This thesis is focused on the assessment of earth structures within the road I / 35 Lešná - Palačov at the junction with the R48. The main goal is to process and evaluate the mathematical model with the aid of software Plaxis 2D to selected profiles. Mathematical models allow us to solutions both in terms of stability, shifts and consolidation. The thesis is divided into theoretical part focused on natural structures, slope stability, soil conditioning and geotechnical monitoring. The practical part is focused on calculations using finite element method.
