Abstract
This thesis deals with the theoretical analysis of the division of radio waves on the band and their use, describe Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a standard, which is used for sending radio signals in the 5GHz band, and data transmission in wireless local area network.
The practical part of the thesis focuses on the selection of receivers and transmitters operating at a frequency of 5 GHz, the design of different kinds of obstacles that often occur on the testing and implementation of scripts for testing measurements. With the testing is meant to approximate measurement of the spread of digital signals in the 5 GHz, depending on the different types of obstacles.
