Abstract

This thesis deals with the problems and possibilities of deployment RFoG (Radio Frequency over Glass) technology into the new generation optical access network. Passive optical networks PON offer, except high transmission speed, also a very wide range of applicability for various traffic data services. These services can be combined with different transmission technologies. By one of needs upon this networks, is also backward compatibility with older analog technologies. The first part of this work is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the various ways of distributing TV signals within the PON. Here is an explanation of the transfer deal IPTV and RF- TV in optical access networks. The practical part is devoted to commissioning DVB-T/IP streamer, which serves as a generator of TV signal, broadcasting RFoG subsequent implementation through the PON network design and experimental measurements, using objective methods. The conclusion of my work deals with the evaluation of individual measurements and then considering the feasibility of deploying technology RFoG in practice.
