Využití vápence v uhelné elektrárně

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines the use of limestone in a coal-fired power plant. It describes the entire journey of limestone, from its extraction and processing to its use in the desulfurization process and the subsequent production of synthetic gypsum. The thesis supplements the environmental perspective on limestone utilization with an economic analysis focused on procurement and processing, including an assessment of operational cost intensity. All of these processes are demonstrated through the specific technology used at the Tušimice Power Plant.
