Abstract

The application of nickel alloys is often limited for economic reasons only some of the specific environment. Their high price is acceptable by offsetting utility properties enable to achieve durability. In this study evaluated the structure and microstructure of alloys based on Ni3Al, which were prepared by centrifugal casting. Experimentally prepared alloy contains higher amounts of oxygen and nitrogen. It follows that the material is prone to contact with air to absorb atmospheric oxygen. The samples were monitored and compared to the growth direction of grains and their size. The other alloys were determined structural parameters - porosity and microhardness. For selected samples was performed phase analysis of scanning electron microscope. The work shows that Ni3Al alloys can be cast centrifugally. The structure of the finished pipe is structurally highly inhomogeneous. The production process is necessary to improve and find ways to influence the structure properly.
