Abstract
This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction technique. The theoretical part describes this technique in general, methods of specimen preparations and ways how to evaluate obtained data. Data evaluation is mainly focused on a description of crystal orientation in specimens investigated. There are described some practical uses of this method too.
In experimental part, a method for manual evaluation of diffraction patterns is described. Moreover, there are some important techniques of Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction described in more detail.
