Abstract
This Bachelor Thesis introduces a design for realization of a detection device to ascertain a possible presence of animals in the wild nature. The detection device uses Bluetooth Low Energy to transfer information to another device operating with Android software where any detection is signalized via audio, graphical or vibrational notices. Wireless transfer was realized by the module BLE112 by Bluegiga. To detect movements, a dual passive infra-red detection device, the type LH – 901A was used. The obtained data were sent to and displayed on a Google Nexus 7 tablet by Asus.
Electrical connection of BLE112 is placed on a PCB, which is connectable to a motion sensor.
The motion sensor and the PCB are charged by a 9 V battery. The acquired values are automatically saved in the receiving device memory with the possibility to export the data in an accessible format for other software applications.
