Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a multiband patch antenna operating on the 2.6 and 3.5 GHz frequency bands. In the theoretical part of the work, thesis deals with fifth generation networks and antennas operating at their frequencies, including patch antennas. The practical part is focused on the design, calculation of dimensions, simulation, and actual implementation of the antenna for the required frequency bands. At the end of the work, the accuracy of the practical model is verified by measuring selected parameters and their evaluation. The result of this thesis is a functional multi-band patch antenna adapted for the 2.6 and 3.5 GHz frequency bands.
