Abstract

This bachelor´s work is aimed at motor-vehicle insurance characteristic, including closer acquaintance with mandatory contractual and accident insurance. The goal of this work is selection of vehicle insurance optimum product for specific subject. The theoretical part attends to the basic characteristic of vehicle insurance and its classification. The reasons for motor-vehicle insurance, the history of mandatory contractual insurance origin and the legal regulations of insurance of liability for damage caused by vehicle operation are mentioned. In the practical part, 3 insurance companies are chosen out of the range of insurance companies on the Czech insurance market. Their products are being analysed and compared then. The Fuller´s method of paired comparison and simple and weighted utility matrix are used for finding the optimum insurance option. Observed results are summarized and the optimum product of mandatory contractual and accident insurance of motor-vehicles for specific subject according to defined criteria is chosen in the conclusion.
