Finanční hospodaření vysoké školy

Abstract

Aim of this Bachelor thesis is to describe Universities’ system and their financing in the Czech Republic, whereas main focus is given to private Universities. Practical example is shown on the base of undertaken financial analysis of Vysoká škola podnikání, a.s. in Ostrava. This analysis includes deep dive into costs, revenues, profitability and liquidity of before mentioned institution. First chapter describes educational system of the Czech Republic with main accent on Universities’ system. It is focused on division of educational forms, for example division of primary, secondary and tertiary education. Second chapter is dedicated to the financial analysis. Overall objective is to describe individual financial indicators, on which base is undertaken economic analysis of chosen organization. Third chapter lays down the economic evaluation of given school. On the base of data, which were found out in the analysis, is performed comparison of trend within chosen financial indicators and their assessment. Conclusion of this thesis is dedicated to the overall assessment of determined results in given organization.
