Charakteristika a metalografické hodnocení damaškových ocelí a damaškových kompozitů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of damascene steels from their history to their modern concept. It compares damascene steels with damascene composites and, in the practical part, observes their structure and hardness measurements. For the practical part of this work, samples of core damascus after different heat treatment regimes were used. The microstructure of the composite damascus samples produced in the Czech Republic and the ElmaxCore damascus steel samples after 4 types of heat treatment were observed, the joints were analyzed, and the hardness of different layers was measured. The scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive analysis were used to determine the chemical composition of the different layers.
