Finanční analýza podniku Třinecké železárny, a.s.

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to assess the financial situation of the chosen company. Then there are designed the recommendations and measurements that will lead to the improvement of financial health in the thesis. The thesis introduces firstly Třinecké Iron Works, Inc., which is engaged in the production of long-rolled steel products. The theoretical part will explain the methods and tools of financial analysis and then these methods will be used in the practical part of the selected company. As a method to determine the financial health I chose the vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of financial ratios, pyramidal decomposition of return on equity, bankruptcy and credibility models.
