Abstract

The aim of the graduation theses is economical evaluation after implementation of a new technology for steel level measurement inside tundish at slabs´ continue casting machine. In theoretical part there is describe a principle of steel continue casting and presented a measurement equpment. There are described areas, which will be following and comparing. It is concerned lowering of weight residue inside tundish, lowering of breakouts occurance owing to slag penetrating from tundish to mold and lowering refractory material consumption by the help of steel level fluctuation tracking in tundish. In the practical part there is described measurement itself, compared differences and evaluated economical profits.
